REVIVE AFRICA INITIATIVE FLAGS-OFF EDUCATE THE AFRICAN CHILD CAMPAIGN IN KANO, GIVES FULL SCHOLAERSHIP, UNIFORMS, SCHOOL BAGS, NOTEBOOKS AND OTHER LEARNING AIDES TO 105 CHILDREN IN FARAWA COMMUNITY.

It was an atmosphere of celebration and hope of better days ahead as Revive Africa Initiative Flagged-off her " Educate the African Child Campaign" at Farawa Primary School in Kano on Friday 25th, January 2019.

The event which was attended by many prominent individuals and government functionaries such as Prof. Mohamed Shittu, Sub Saharan coordinator of International Association for Community Development (IACD) and member of the Board of trustees of Revive Africa Initiative,  Alh. Nuhu Abba, a senior director of Kano state Ministry of Education and coordinated of Global partnership for education, the kumbotsu Local Government Area education secretary, DPO of Farawa Police station, ward head(magaji), communitu head and Kumbutsu chiefs, community members and residents was to flagg of the "Educate the African Child Campaign" of the initiayed targeted at returning one thousand out of school children to school Annualky across Nigeria.

The flagg-off was marked by offer of full primary education scholarship to identified and enlisted one hundred and five(105) out-of-School Children who beyond tuidtion fees, the Inititaitive Provided school unforms, school bags, notebooks etc for and declared that their schlorship will be sudtained until the graduate from Primary schools.

In her welcome address the state coordinator of Revive Africa Initiative, kano state chapter apprecieted the women who cooperated with the initiative and provided their cildren for enkistment, she revealed that to solve the root causes of lacl of eductaion due to poverty, that the the kano state chapter in the near future will be embacking in aggressive women skill and business empowermnet to enable mothers in kano state engage in economic activities and contribute to the education of their children.

The Director general Amb. Ugagaoghene ogheneyole N. while charging the parents of the beneficiaries to ensure that their children does not drop on the way, called on the ministry of education and local government authority to provide a condusive learning enviroment, urging them to provide mats for the children who currently sits on bare floor to learn, he also called on the government to provide more classroom blocks for their public schools as most of the schools are over crowded and congested.

In rsesponse, the representative from the ministry of education assured that he will call the attwntion of the honourable coomissoner of education to the issues raised and also ensure close monitoring of the beneficiaries.

Every other digniyories present took turn to encourage the parents to ensure that their children remains in school and maximize the scholareship while appreciating the ReviveAfrica Initiative for the Gesture.











The high point of the events was the presentation of the school bags, books and uniforms to the children and handing over of their list to the headmastered who pledged to ensure strick monitoring and guidance for the pupils.
