The National President of National Association of Delta state students Comr. Agolo Samson has declared a that the assocociation mourns the gruesome killing of Miss. Elozino Ogege.
Speaking to ur correspondentshe noted 'While our hearts are heavy and sorrrowful, our tears have remained torrential over the horrific and grusome killing of Miss ELOZINO OGEGE, a 300L student of the department of Mass Communication Delta State University Abraka.
The painful Death of ELOZINO is one of the numerous coordinated attacks against innocent and harmless students of DELSU under the Prof. Victor Peretomode led management. We recall with nostalgia the recent shooting and eventual death of a student at the Anwai Campus of the school during the last semester examinations.
Under this Vice Chancellor, we have lost counts of the innocent lives lost to men of the underworld.
DELSU today is not just a Den of Various Cult groups but has become a theater of deaths, most of the victims of which are breadwinners of their families and brilliant students with a bright future. It is heartbreaking that having passed through the rigorous process of getting admission, burning night candles, with the hope of a future, these innocent lives are cut short at their primes.
The continued clamp down on independent students unionism and suspension of conscious students have continued to reign supreme in DELSU.
OUR DEMANDS
1. WE DEMAND THE IMMORTALISATION OF ELOZINO OGEGE BY BOTH THE DELSU MANAGEMENT AND THE DELTA STATE GOVERNMENT.
2. WE CALL FOR A CLINICAL INVESTIGATION INTO THE GRUSOME KILLING OF ELOZINO AND OTHER STUDENTS WHO HAVE LOST THEIR LIVES UNDER THE PROF. PERETOMODE LED ADMINISTRATION.
3.WE CALL FOR THE IMMEDIATE DISMISSAL OF THE DELSU VICE CHANCELLOR, PROF. VICTOR PERETOMODE, HIS ARREST AND FURTHER PROSECUTION OF THE MANY LIVES LOST UNDER HIS CUSTODY.
4. ERADICATION OF CULTISM AND OTHER SOCIAL VICES ACROSS DELTA STATE SCHOOLS.
5. A 7 DAY ULTIMATUM IS HEREBY ISSUED FOR THESE DEMANDS, FAILURE TO MEET THEM WILL LEAVE US WITH NO OPTION THAN TO PRESS HOME OUR DEMANDS USING EVERY LEGITIMATE AND DEMOCRATIC MEANS.
